Collection
2024 Fall | DS3
Advised by Pouya Ahmadi
This collection presents faces found in objects, organized along two axes: intentionality (intentional vs. accidental) and material cost (expensive vs. cheap). Through this juxtaposition, the collection questions what defines 'fine art,' who decides which collections are museum-worthy, and whether artistic intent or material value should determine an object's cultural significance.
